RESOURCES

The first year, Legacy will focus on parents and grandparents with children ages 0-12. Each year thereafter, programs will be added, expanding the scope of the ministry. The first year Legacy will provide:

• Programs on parenting for small groups of parents led by mentoring couples to include topics such as building Biblical relationships with children and raising moral children.
• A small group program for dads and another for moms, each focusing on the unique role God has established.
• Small group Bible studies for families, including the children, focusing on topics such as What God Desires of Dads, Moms & Kids.
• Resources for families to use at home, designed to build habits rich in family faith-sharing, prayer and serving experiences.
• A First Timers Club for couples who will be parents for the first time, exploring concepts of Biblical parenting, enabling them to understand and live out the commitment they will make at the baptism of their children.
• Ideas and information on offering Family Night Live programs such as Flicks and Food, Names and Games, and more.
• Ideas and information on setting up a Forty Ways of Service program for church families.
• A Legacy website newsletter.
• A family church library.
